A Case of Bicuspid Aortic Valve

Abstract
bicuspid arotic valve is one of the most common congenital heart disease in adult, Because the clinical course of the bicuspid aortic valve is not well known and its complications are potentially so devastating, early recognition and assessment
of
the
bicuspid aortic valve is clinically important.
2-Dimensional and Doppler echocardiography can noninvasively document the presence of a bicuspid aortic valve and determine is complications with resumable sensitivity and specificity. The mainstay of treatment for bicuspid aortic valve is
surgical
correction.
We experienced a patient with bicuspid aortic valve who was 18 years and male with mild chest discomfort.
In addition to reporting a case of bicuspid aortic valve, we will present a review of the literature available on this subject.
